The original for this cast was a commission and was hand carved in Welsh Slate. 

Inspiration for commissions comes from all sorts of places, for this one the client wanted to develop a pattern seen in the background of her husbands favourite Star Wars film! 

Whilst it might be a slightly more unusual place to start, it became a hugely successful and popular design. The pattern appears to move as the light changes on it, this is particularly apparent in the gold version, which is painted using Craigs Gold from Goldfarben a very close match to gold leaf, but more durable.

Larger jesmonite casts are shipped in purpose built, foam lined, wooden shipping crates to ensure they arrive with you in perfect condition.

Smaller pieces are shipped in cardboard boxes.

They are individually are hand made to order, so reasonable shipping times have been given.

Additional Information

Cast in Jesmonite, a mixture of resin and gypsum, these beautiful casts pick up all the fine detail of the chisel marks seen in the original carving.

Each one is signed and has the edition number.

Wall pieces have have two simple fixings in the back allowing them to be easily hung on screws in the wall.
