Monstera

Monstera was hand carved in white marble whilst I was living in Brunei for two years. Surrounded by tropical rainforest, I was experimenting with colour, relief carving and introducing different finishes to the surface of the stone.

The carved Monstera leaves are brought to life with layers of colour and varnish, contrasted with gilded lettering. The piece is presented framed and ready to hang.

Additional Information

Created using only a mallet and chisel this carved stone plaque is ideal for hanging on a wall.

It has a metal bracket fixed into the back of the stone and comes with a corresponding bracket to screw into the wall.

Once your wall bracket is level and secure the stone can be lowered on top of it so the two brackets connect.
