Fossa

Hand carved in either Portland limestone or Corsehill sandstone, this miniature sculpture measures 8cm square and fits comfortably in the hand. 

Fossa centres around the idea of a gentle recess, a soft, held space within the form. The geometry creates a quiet sense of depth and calm, almost like a breath drawn inwards.

Zoë used traditional hand carving techniques to create this stunning geometric pattern in British stone.
