About the carving:

As a Gift for Zoë’s mother’s 70th birthday, she carved a piece called Ti Amor. Wanting to explore the pattern further Zoë re-visited it with this carving. To play with the viewer’s perception she removed the surface so that the carving stands proud of the background.

This piece was chosen to be part of the ‘Welding Cultures’ exhibiting at So Shiro in Marylebone, London.

The original carving was sold to a private collector and measured 30 x 30 x 4cm.
