BUILDING PYRAMIDS
CONTEMPORARY WALL SCULPTURE BY ZOË WILSON
The photos below show the process involved in sculpting Pyramids.
I chose to use Welsh slate due to its dense structure. It has become my favourite stone to use for carving complicated geometric patterns, mostly because it picks up fine detail beautifully. I also really love the dark colour and tactile smooth surface.
Pyramids is available to buy in the shop, along with plaster casts taken from it which are hand finished. The casts are also available hand painted in enamel paints to suit your interior colour scheme, and available framed as well.
